  • Welbeck took on the project in 2009
  • Three years later, and following a planning appeal and subsequent High Court challenge, outline consent was obtained for 550 new homes, together with a local shopping centre, doctors' surgery, community hall, and affordable and retirement housing


The site was sold in 2014 to a major housebuilder
